Pandemic SafetyCOVID-19 ~ DLB Protecting our employees and The General Public
As we continue to monitor the COVID-19 impact, the health and safety of our employees and the public is our top priority. Being a National Contractor, we are focusing on ways to protect our staff as they travel throughout the country. In addition to our current PPE guidelines, we are adding the precautionary tasks listed below incorporated with the suggested guidelines from the CDC.
Infrared Digital Thermometer:
Prior to entering the jobsite, daily temperatures of each DLB employee will be logged into the RedTeam Daily Report. Any employee with a recorded temperature of 100.4F or greater may not enter the jobsite per the CDC.
All DLB employees are required to wear company provided facemasks over their nose and mouth as a precautionary measure while present on the jobsite.
All DLB employees are to follow typical social distancing practices to avoid or limit physical contact with others and direct employees, contractors, or visitors.
Air Quality & Purification:
All DLB crews will be equipped with a non-chemical air purifier to continually clean the air throughout the workday. This process uses UV light to transform water vapor into a natural cascade of “hydroxyl” and other free radical oxidants which neutralize 99.99% of organic and inorganic contaminants, bacteria, viruses and black mold.
Before the start of each workday, DLB will disinfect the local work area using an electrostatically charged “Aerostatic” cleaning process using Vital Oxide which is EPA registered and specifically effective against the Human Coronavirus.
DLB employees are required to apply hand sanitizer and/or alcohol-based hand rubs containing at least 70% alcohol every hour on the hour.
All DLB employees are required to clean all tools used onsite with disinfectant wipes after each completed workday.
All DLB employees are required to disinfect their work vehicles are at the end of each workday prior to departing from the jobsite.
Our line of work takes us all around the U.S.A. To keep our employees and the public safe during travel, all DLB Metal employees are equipped with personal hand sanitizer, face masks and disinfectant wipes to take every precaution in preventing the spread of Covid-19.
